Acrylic on hemp canvas with hemp summercloth layer plus gesso layers

In  these six paintings, musicians at Hermann's Jazz Club--including the Naden Band (#483,484, 485), Go Go Penquin (#487), the Attila Fias Trio (#494) and Pablo Cardenas (#495)-- inspired the images.  The gesso has been built into two layers to create the visual beat of the particular song.  These paintings are about the sounds of music.
